How booBID works, step by step
Post a task and get the best offer.
3 min read
booBID is for a task you can describe. You post what you need, verified people send offers, and you pick the one that fits. The clearer the post, the easier it is to compare. A good post is specific enough that two bidders would picture the same job.
Write the task
Start with a clear title. "Collect a parcel from the lobby and bring it to my office" is better than "Quick favour". Then add the details a bidder needs: the size of the job, the address area, access notes, and anything they should bring.
Set your budget. A realistic number attracts serious offers. A number that cannot cover time and travel tends to sit unanswered, or it attracts bids that try to change the deal later. Posting a task does not lock you to the first bid. Read a few offers and accept only when the price and the profile both make sense.
Choose how and when
Pick the type of task. Go & Fetch is for collecting and delivering something. Onsite is for work done at a place. Remote is for work that can be done online. Choose the one that matches the job so the right people bid.
Choose strict or flexible dates. Strict means the timing matters and bidders should treat it as fixed. Flexible means you can work with a range. If the task needs a vehicle, pick one so bidders know what to bring.
- Go & Fetch when something has to be collected and dropped off.
- Onsite when the person needs to be there.
- Remote when the work can happen online.
Compare, pay, then review
When bids arrive, compare the price, the profile, and the reviews. Look at the whole offer, not only the lowest number. The profile tells you who is bidding. The reviews tell you how earlier bookings went. A slightly higher bid from someone with clear reviews can be the better offer. Any verified user can bid. Bidders keep 92% of the bid, and Booqui keeps 8%.
Accept the bid you want and pay securely in the app. That payment is what turns the offer into a booking. The provider then completes the task and adds proof of delivery. Compare that proof with the description you wrote. When it matches, leave a review. Only real bookings can be reviewed, so your note helps the next person. If it does not match, say so in the in-app chat.
Keep the task within the rules. Anything illegal, unsafe, or sexual is not allowed. If a request would worry you to describe out loud, do not post it. A clear, ordinary task gets better bids because people can picture the work and price it properly.
