How to get your first booking
Simple steps to get found and booked fast.

Your first booking usually comes from a listing that is easy to trust. People want to see who you are, what you do, and what it costs. You do not need a huge following. You need a clear profile, a fair price, and a quick reply.
Finish your profile
Write a bio in plain words. Say what you do, who it helps, and how a session usually goes. Short is fine. Specific is better. "I coach beginners through their first 5K" tells a customer more than a line of vague praise.
Use a photo of you, and keep the rest of the profile filled in. A half-finished listing makes people hesitate. A complete one lets them decide.
Write a clear offer
The service title should name the job. "Home maths tutoring for secondary school" is easier to book than a clever slogan. In the description, say what is included, how long it takes, and what the customer should expect.
If you teach or train, add packages. A package lets someone book more than one session without starting from zero each time. Keep the description honest about what each session covers.
Price fairly and get verified
You keep 80% of every booking. On a RM100 booking, you get RM80. Listing is free, so you can set up your profile before anyone books you. Pick a price you can explain in one sentence.
Get verified early. Our team checks a selfie video and confirms a working phone number with a real person. That badge helps customers see that a person reviewed your profile. It is not a background check.
Reply quickly, then share
When a message arrives, answer in the in-app chat. A clear reply the same day often turns a question into a booking. Keep the chat in the app so the booking stays in one place.
Then tell people you already know. Share your listing on social media and on WhatsApp. Your own network is the fastest path to a first customer, because those people already trust you. If you offer more than one service, publish the one you can deliver this week first. A single clear listing is easier to share than a menu of half-described ideas.
- Send the listing to friends who have asked for this kind of help before.
- Post it where your regular customers already spend time.
- Say what you offer and how to book, in one or two lines.
Ask for a review
After the job, ask the customer to leave a review. Only real bookings can be reviewed, so that first note carries weight. It shows the next person that someone booked you and was willing to say how it went. A first booking is a small loop: a complete profile, a fair price, a quick reply, then a review. You can move through that loop this week.
